Audio Mode

 Audio Mode is designed for audio/music files. This mode relies on your files having been tagged with song title and artist information as a minimum. These tags (ID3) usually are provided with the audio download or created by a CD-ripping program (e.g. iTunes).
 
Supported file types are:
 
 
All other files types in the scan are ignored.
 
 
Audio Mode

Same Artist

1. Same Artist
All audio tracks with exactly the same Artist tag will be matched as duplicates.

Similar Artist

2. Similar Artist
All audio tracks with a similarly named Artist tag will be matched as duplicates.

Same Title

All audio tracks with the same Title tag will be matched as duplicates.

Similar Title

All audio tracks with similar Title tags will be matched as duplicates.

Same Album

All audio tracks with the same Album tag will be matched as duplicates

All audio tracks with similar Album tags will be matched as duplicates.

Match other audio tags

7. Match other audio tags
This option will allow matching on up to three additional audio tags.  These tags will also be shown in the results. Available options are:

  • DiscCount
  • Year
  • Length
  • Genre
  • Comment
  • BitRate
  • SampleRate
  • MusicBrainzArtistID
  • MusicBrainzReleaseID
  • MusicBrainzTrackID
  • AmazonID (ASIN)
  • AcoustID
